We’ve been in business for over 20 years building, maintaining, and marketing websites for clients. As our agency continues to expand in offerings, we are looking for someone who not only has a passion for marketing, but a passion to grow. Although we work and grow as a team, each individual’s talent is an asset for our clients.

The goal of this Marketing Apprenticeship is to find a long-term full-time Digital Marketing Specialist. Upon successful completion of the 90-day apprenticeship, the TM team will review your work and relationship with the hope of bringing you on with a full-time salary position.

The Marketing Apprentice will play a pivotal role with the Marketing team to create pathways to reach digital marketing goals for clients and internal projects. The reason this is titled an apprenticeship as opposed to an internship is because of the growth potential. You will be working on established client’s marketing campaigns and projects. 

When it comes to digital marketing, we want someone who can walk the talk. We are more than happy to take that walk with you and help you enhance and grow. This is a two-way street that can continue to provide mutual growth.  The main skills we are looking for include: Writing copy for websites and blogs, maintaining social media accounts, and creating email marketing campaigns. These are the baseline roles you will assist with, and we arm you with the resources you need to excel.

Main Responsibilities

Overall 

  • Uses and explores new tools for research, reporting, and analytics, along with developing content and marketing strategies to meet internal Trademark and client’s goals.
  • Has confidence and is capable of taking directions and executing a task.
  • Applies skill sets to different businesses and their respective goals.
  • Assist marketing team in various marketing tasks and assignments.

Content Development/Copywriting

  • Breaks down creative briefs, case studies, and news articles into blog posts.
  • Researches and develops content for clients, such as industry-related blogs, images, infographics, videos, etc., to post on clients’ websites.
  • Reviews content provided by the clients and inserts it into the client’s WordPress CMS.
  • Assists Trademark in writing industry-related articles for internal web properties.

Social Media 

  • Outlines and executes a social media marketing strategy with an editorial social calendar.
  • Schedules social content in provided scheduling platforms, including CTAs in each social copy and hashtags, when appropriate.
  • Monitors accounts daily to post additional content, find information, and interact with our audience. 
  • Finds appropriate content, such as industry-related articles, images, infographics, videos, etc., to share on our social media pages following branding guidelines, voice, and tone.

Requirements

  • Experience in and passion for digital marketing, particularly within the industry.
  • Proven experience in researching and writing articles, blogs, and website content.
  • Proven experience managing social media campaigns.
  • Detail-oriented with phenomenal communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Obtained or working towards a Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field. 
  • The willingness to learn, apply and grow.

Compensation & Location

This apprenticeship is for individuals to agree to a 3-month (90-days) contract role or 32 hours per week at $15/hour. You will be able to let us know what days and times work best for you. 

Our office is located in Pleasant Ridge, on Woodward Ave. before I-696. Within your first 90 days, you will report to the office. 

Post Apprenticeship

The goal of this Marketing Apprenticeship is to find a long-term full-time Digital Marketing Specialist. Upon successful completion of the 90-day apprenticeship, the TM team will review your work and relationship with the hope of bringing you on with a full-time salary position.
