2020 Marketing Year Review
As we all heard a million and one times over, 2020 has been a trying year, an unprecedented time, and tiresome for all of us, to say the least. We’ve had to conform, adapt, pivot, and breakthrough the seams to find our new routine to continue living every day, personally and professionally.
This year showed TM that we can still make magic from nothing. Each department in our agency showed up and out to make sure our clients’ needs were met, like business as usual. We’ve already heard the recap from our Creative team, but here’s the marketing year in review.
Google Partner Event
On Wednesday, March 11, 2020 (two days before the entire world completely came to a halt), we held our first Google Partner event. The event focused on Google Analytics and other popular tools. With clients and local small business owners joining us, we were successfully able to educate and empower them to use these tools on their own to learn about who is coming to their website – when, how, and where.
The feedback we received from the attendees was amazing. Most want to see this type of event from us again in the future, and we are adapting it to become virtual – so stay tuned for our upcoming webinars in 2021.
Maintaining and Adapting
The week following the event, we began working from home. While it wasn’t much of an adjustment (since we could have one flex day per week), we still had to adjust to working from home and communicating through technology every day, such as Zoom and Slack. Our team has maintained camaraderie with check-in meetings, as necessary, and monthly agency meetings.
