While the term CAPTCHA (Completely Automated Public Turing Test to Tell Computers and Humans Apart) may not be well known, the function has been used by millions. The code made up of colors, lines, letters, and numbers that you have to squint your eyes to read and type in before you can access certain pages, is not just used to annoy users. CAPTCHA, while difficult to read, at times, protects websites and users from any potential Internet evil.

The Google Chrome browser is getting more praise from non-corporate users because of its compatibility with other Google-based features like GMail, Google Desktop, among others. Just as we are getting over the Internet Explorer 7 (IE7) and our websites to conform to IE7, Microsoft decides to bombard us with another version. Knowing that IE8 and its arrival is right around the corner, it’s like trying to recover from all of the holiday festivities that occur one right on top of the other. Am I the only one who is feeling claustrophobic? We’ll see if IE8 makes our lives any easier!
