The lawsuit between the University of Michigan and the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) is brutal. To say that it is all hearts and flowers would be a lie. RIAA company, MediaSentry, is receiving a bit of heat from eight other states, alongside Michigan, as the law may have been broken.

While the website was not difficult to operate by individuals with vision impairments, the Target Corporation was required, as a result of a lawsuit, to pay six million dollars to the National Federation of the Blind (NFB). Will other large corporations follow in Target’s footsteps to create a more friendly website so they won’t have to suffer through the same fate?
