If you’re one of our Facebook friends or you follow us on Twitter, then you are all aware of our joint effort with POAM’s (Police Officer Association of Michigan) recent donation program to provide items for people being cared for at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center. On May 13, 2011 CEO of Trademark Productions, Dwight Zahringer, headed down to Washington D.C. with a few members of the POAM organization. Once they arrived in D.C., these people literally hand-delivered numerous donations to some of America’s heroes. Below you can see a picture of Zahringer putting together the donation packages outside of the Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
Both Trademark Productions and POAM worked relentlessly to get donations. POAM spent a great deal of time working through their Twitter and Facebook pages to acquire donations. Because of our joint efforts, we were able to provide really entertaining donations from Anchor Bay Entertainment, ABC Warehouse and Sony. Also, we were fortunate enough to receive numerous donations from Spartan Foods, Detroit Athletic Club members and various anonymous donors. On behalf of Trademark Productions and POAM, we would like to express a heartfelt thank-you to everyone who helped to make this donation a success. The people who received your gifts at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center were very thankful for everything you were able to provide them.
