		<description>Not sure of the site that you are trying to speed-up, however it sounds like you may have some work cut out for you. If you are using a platform for commerce or CMS I would try back at the company site to see if they have updates available to the software. If not then I would do a process of elimination to the culprits at large: JavaScript (remove from the code and call in with a single string from an external file), Images (Download to optimize in Photoshop/Gimp and re-upload), remove all inline styles and place in an external CSS file. 

If your website is using tables, get out of those as soon as possible. 

http://www.websiteoptimization.com/services/analyze/ has some good tools to benchmark page load.

Throw in the URL or email to dwight (@) tmprod.com that you are working on and we could give you some more tips. Sometimes they are easier than we think.</description>
