Trademark developed the Aviator’s Ball website, www.aviatorsball.com, an upscale fundraising celebration to benefit the Ronald McDonald Houses in Detroit and Ann Arbor, Michigan. The Ball took place this past weekend on, October 4, 2008. Project Manager, Dean Jones, and I, Craig Hearn, took this opportunity to give back to our clients/community and were able to attend with our lovely girlfriends.
The Ball was held at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan, right underneath the large plane at the entrance, to my surprise. News celebrities walked throughout the museum that were attending the event, and a silent auction was held, which included signed Detroit Sports memorabilia which raised even more money for the families staying at the Ronald McDonald Houses. After a tasty surf and turf dinner, there was a live auction which included many dining and sports events around the Detroit Metro and Ann Arbor areas. There was even a trip to Ireland up for auction! After the auction the Museum was open for the attendee’s enjoyment, to take their drinks and browse the cars and other items.
The ball raised much-needed funds to contribute to the excellent work that each of the Ronald McDonald Houses do providing a positive environment for families who have to come far from home, to seek treatment for their children who are ill.
Looking at our work, you might think that all we do is SEO and Web Development, but at the same time we make sure to go out and see our clients, get involved in their activities, and give back to the community.
