Six Easy Steps to Success
Being around for a little bit (damn near over 15 years now) TM has created a process that allows any project we are working on to be completed on target, on scope and within budget. We are always refining this process and applying new strategies and techniques to it, but you get the idea here.
Step 1 - Project Review and Start
You will be assigned a Project Manager (PM) who will serve as your point of contact. Your PM will review your scope of requested services and discuss possible considerations of your project. They will go over requirements for development and propose a timeline to outline milestones. We talk about your branding, goals and the online landscape or other considerations.
Step 2 - Site Design
Via email, you will receive compositions (non-functional renderings) of your new site. Your PM will explain functionality and document changes, if any. Your PM will not move forward with your project until the "look and feel" of your site is approved. Upon approval, your PM will discuss any items from the needs assessment that need fulfillment. We now start gathering content and imagery from you, as well as researching keywords for your site's SEO data.
Step 3 - Site Blueprint & "The Build"
Every project in website and software development has a detailed plan so that no detail is missed. Your PM will present your website blueprint which will outline every page including content, SEO data, articles, images and specific functionalities of that page or section. They will document and discuss your additions or changes and seek approval for "the build" (ohhhh- the "build". Such a cool thing isn't it?). Once we have received an approved Blueprint from you, we will get crackin' on putting together the images, content, and code that will make your site become reality.
Step 4 - BETA Testing
Your new web site is 96% completed. We review any changes or revisions your team points out or requests and the time associated with making those changes. At this time we also verify your new website hosting environment, assist in setting up email accounts, SSL certificates, merchant accounts and start final verifications prepping for the launch of your site.
Step 5 - Launch!
Upon your final approval your web site is launched live and site statistics are set up to help analyze traffic patterns. The source code, any assets we used to build your site and any special development documentation of your project is given to you for safe keeping.
Step 6 - Online Marketing
Your site is live, so now what? TM will consult with you on the various options of online marketing available. TM can show you how to drive qualified traffic to your site with Pay Per Click/Search Engine Marketing (SEM) in Google, Yahoo!, MSN, Ask and others, Pay Per Call, Click to Call and Organic "natural" search engine optimization. We discuss tracking site traffic and strategies to convert your site's visitors into actual customers to achieve your goals.
