Chief Executive Officer
The idea for Trademark Productions, Inc. was born over 15 years ago as a simple side-business aimed at servicing the music and creative industries. Dwight Zahringer, Trademark's founder and President, was studying Graphic and Commercial Art along with Desktop Publishing. TM spent the next few years promoting major music acts such as Moby, Britney Spears and Creed, as well as artists from labels such as Warner Brothers, Universal, Hollywood. Sony, Mercury and several more across the United States. Promotion eventually expanded into event retail environments aimed at direct markets and then again beyond music to include print magazines such as URB, shoe companies like Pony Shoes and consumer brands like Purina Beneful, Colgate and Coca-Cola.
In the mid 1990's and with the introduction of Napster and ease of creating websites, TM's shift went to online development and b2b internet marketing, culminating in the hiring of several professional web designers to its family. Because TM was involved in the Internet game from such an early stage, the company has had the privilege of watching it develop. That background and experience allows TM to offer customers website design, internet marketing, search engine optimization, software development and online business consulting.
In 2005 Dwight helped start and develop a SEO specific software named LinkXL which was acquired by a private group of investors in 2009. In this same year, he became a published author by contributing to the book "SEO for the CEO."
Dwight continues to remain active by attending and speaking at internet conferences, reading and blogging on a daily basis. Past speaking appearances have included private functions, Oakland University, American Marketers Association, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Professional Accounting Society of America and numerous regional Chamber of Commerce. Dwight will be a speaker at PubCon Hawaii in February of 2012. The session will be on "Online Reputation Management".

In my past life I was a prized Matador from Barcelona, Spain in the 1700's.
What's your favorite youTube video?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ku_utdBNySI - Successful advertising is always about great creative. When you deliver on the product you advertised, even better. In the mid 1990's Featherweight boxer "Prince" Naseem Hamed had the most remarkable, memorable entrances in to the boxing ring. It always aggravated his opponents and the Prince had a remarkable career. Great marketing and tactics for success.
Worst lie someone ever told you that you believed?
For a few years I was lead to believe that Santa and the Easter Bunny were real. Then I turned 4.
Which super power would you like to have and why?
The ability to transport myself from any location to another. Cut out my travel time each day and spend each night at my Villa in Los Cabos, Mexico.
If you didn't have to work, what would you do?
Lots of traveling, lots of professional Poker and I would attend every major soccer game and boxing event - worldwide.
If you could be any fictional character, who would you be?
What is your favorite thing about the internet?
I love the ability to research anything I want at any time. From a barber shop in Las Vegas, to who was in a movie to a specific medical condition - the internet is a powerful resource that is changing every minute of our lives. From a business perspective, I love how the internet has shaped commerce for businesses across the world. It has become a very tangible component to any marketing program that shows continuous results. There is no reason why any business, large or small, should be resisting change and not embracing this powerful resource for sales and leads.
