Job Opening for PHP Web Developer
Trademark Productions wants to add an entry-level PHP developer to its team.
TM is a full-service web development agency with a proven track record and extensive portfolio. In addition to web design and e-commerce, we create custom web-based software and do regular maintenance and upgrades for many clients.
We develop in PHP/MySQL and strict XHTML/CSS. We’re looking for someone with a lot of enthusiasm for web development and the ability to learn quickly.
A strong PHP background, intermediate MySQL skills, and the ability to hand-code an XHTML document (styled with CSS) are required. We’re especially interested in those well-versed in OOP, best security practices, MVC, common design patterns, and a Javascript library like jQuery.
Candidates with personal web projects and open source contributions go to the front of the line. We want people who read blogs and journals from developers and designers they admire. You should have informed opinions about what makes great web software.
The Trademark Productions team works from our open, informal office in the heart of downtown Royal Oak, Michigan on Main Street (the suite above Pink Pump). Lunch hour doesn’t get any better than this.
We emphasize personal responsibility, great communication skills, rising to challenges, doing detailed work, testing the heck out of it, and getting it done on a deadline.
